
Women are truly a force to be reckoned with when they are able to uplift and inspire each other. La’Torria Lemon is a phenomenal leader in the fast paced public relations world and we’re pleased to place her in our Women’s History Month spotlight.
La’Torria Lemon is the CEO, Owner and senior publicist of Lemon- Lime Light Media as well as the founder of Let’s Talk Teen Talk. Through Lemon-Lime Light Media she serves as the lead publicist for entertainers, non-profits, faith-based leaders and corporations. She also does brand management.
Lemon attended Clark Atlanta University, where she majored in Public Relations Management and minored in History. She is a native Houston and graduated from Westfield High School. Although she works all across the nation, she is proud to be from Houston.
Lemon started in the entertainment industry at the age of three, where she performed in local stage plays, commercials, short films, and while in high school, was inducted into the National Honor Thespian Society and won the UIL competition for all district actress. At the age of 16 she became the youngest on-air radio personality in Houston as she served as the co-host and intern for Sports Wrap on KCOH with the legendary Ralph Cooper. While in college, she proceeded to continue her passion for radio by working at WSTU 98.1 radio and on the promotions team for Hot 107.9. She was eager to learn all aspects of media, so she applied for a position with a popular blog site which she was denied; however, the publicist for the blog reached out and offered her the chance of a lifetime to work with her company and their client, Essence Magazine.
From there, she learned Public Relations and begin to, not only to pursue PR as a career, but switched her education path to Public Relations too.

She has worked on campaigns for Melissa McCarthy, John Singleton, Big Boi of Outkast, Mona Scott-Young, David Banner, Isaiah Washington, Warner Brothers, TNT, BET, OWN Network, VH1 and a plethora of TV Networks. Lemon-Lime Light Media has represented clients such as Leela James, Ashley Stewart Corporation, LisaRaye McCoy, Slim Thug and BossLife Foundation, Kim Burrell, Earnest Pugh, D-Reck of Wreckshop Records, Chauncy Glover of The Chauncy Glover Project, Just Brittany, Higher Dimensions Church, Mrs. Georgia America, Keynote Peach Moscato, The Chatman Women’s Foundation, The United Negro College Fund and a variety of national brands. Her work has been featured on national media outlets such as The Real, Wendy Williams Show, The Breakfast Klub, CNN, Essence Magazine, Ebony Magazine, Rolling Stone and more. She also works closely with Haute Behavior where they handle staffing for the My Black Is Beautiful Tour.

Lemon has received several awards and recognitions including: Alpha Phi Alpha Woman of the Year 2010, Empower Magazine 40 Under 40, I10 Media 40 Under 30, Ciroc Top Women in Media 2018 honoree, Top Media Women in Texas by Urban 24/7 Blog and was named the Top 5 People You Need to Know by Aspe Magazine.
She is actively involved with the Royal Duchess Step team; she volunteers regularly with various nursing homes and she teaches theater to at risk teens through Let’s Talk Teen Talk. When not working, she likes to travel to beaches and resorts, and also enjoys writing.
